All Better

My ankle was getting all better now... all day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday I was in my bed laying down and resting my ankle. I believed that the more I rested it the better it would get and sooner. On Monday, I went to the Orthopedic surgeon and he told me to start walking on my ankle. When i was on my way home from that place, Julie called me and asked me if I wanted to go to the barn to help her with some paperwork, so I wouldn't have to walk on my ankle much. (She is so caring! lol)

She didn't tell me that Farmer Dan was coming to pick me up! When I got home from Rite Aid, about a minute later I was crutching up the stairs and back down to get my stuff for the sleepover that night. Then, Farmer Dan pulled into my driveway. I hobbled my way to the truck.. and hopped in! I got all nice and comfy in the truck.. and my mommy threw the crutches in the backseat. She told me to be careful on my ankle and to not do anything stupid.

When I got to the barn in was hard to get out of the truck.. Farmer Dan pulled right up to the barn doors so I wouldn't have to crutch through the snow. When I got out of the truck, I hopped on one leg and pulled my crutches out of the truck. Once I pulled got my crutches out of the truck.. I went to start crutches and I tripped over the snow and hit the doors.. and I almost hit poor Goosey, but I didn't. Nicole and Goosey wanted me to wait with them to finish waterbuckets.. but it was cold and I wanted to see Julie!

I crutched my way up the stairs, and finally got to Julie's door. I walked up and knocked on the door.. she told me to come on so I opened the door and somehow managed to make it in with out tripping over anything (there wasn't anything to trip over.. but knowing me I would trip over my own one foot). I told her what the doctor person said and that I wouldn't be able to ride until I can completely walk without a limp.

We ordered pizza, and we organized a bunch of stuff and we stuffed some more envelopes. Then, after a while I went to see Faith, who I missed so much, and I got into Margret's mom's car and we were off to the hotel with Goosey, Nicole, Margaret, her mom, her, brother, her sister, and me!
